Video: UDA's 5 Step Authentication Process

(RSS and third party site readers, click here to view video/media)

Upper Deck Authenticated makes some of the most sought after sports memorabilia in the marketplace today. They also produce some of the most expensive memorabilia in the marketplace. With such high quality pieces and a considerable investment on the collectors part, it behoves Upper Deck and collectors to have a reliable authentication process in place.

If you ever wanted to know how UDA authenticates its products or the purpose of those little holograms on the corners of sports memorabilia pieces, checkout this short video.

The video is certainly informative, but here's the fun part. What's your favorite piece of sports memorabilia? It can be anything from a UDA product, poster, signed baseball, pair of kicks, figurine, auto'd picture, bobblehead, etc. I know we all collect a lot of diverse items, so the sky is the limit.

  1. That was very intersting.

My favorite piece is my Michael Jordan autographed B&W picture. I've owned it for almost 20 years now. A picture signed by the greatest basketball player ever, how could that not be my favorite?>

  2. - Dodgerbobble: Wow, that's awesomeness!!! I'm a huge MJ fan, like everyone else, and get really pumped about Jordan items. I bet it looks cool in B&W. Have you posted about it on your blog?

  3. Neat video. My favorite is my Brandon Roy/Lamarcus Aldridge autograph photo that my sister got for me at a local signing a few years back. I love that thing.

  5. Charles- No. I'm gonna wait for the NBA season to start, then I'll start posting some of my basketball bobbleheads, cards, autographs and memorabilia. The Dodgers are my first love, but the Lakers and basketball are a very close second.

  6. Wow... great question... difficult... but great nonetheless. I guess if I had to pick one it'd be my UDA autographed 8x10 photo of Byron Scott... it's not the most valuable... but Scott was my favorite Laker during the 80's and it's one of my first UDA acquisitions.

However... if I had a Jordan UDA auto like dodgerbobble, my answer might be different. ;-)

  7. Wow, sounds like some great items by all. I think Dodgerbobble takes the cake with his MJ picture. I think my fav item is an auto'ed MJ Wheaties photo. My grandmother work for General Mills and got it at a company function 15 years ago.
