No question, last night's come from behind win by the New York Yankees in Game 1 of the ALCS was exciting for this Yankees fan. Hopefully the Yanks and Phil Hughes can pull out another win to take a two games to none lead back to the Bronx.
With a big Game 2 to be played today, I felt the urge to post a few of my favorite E-X Essential Credentials Yankees cards. The E-X Credentials sets feature one of my favorite card designs ever. I love the bright colors and up close player silhouettes. These cards are a combination of paper and foiling on acetate card stock. Truly one of the coolest insert sets of the 90's.

I can't stand the Yankees... but there's no denying that these Essential Credentials are sweet!
ReplyDeleteVery nice. I love the look on Bernie's face.
ReplyDeleteThe Bernie is pretty cool. For some reason, the cards color was not picked up by my scanner.
