What Size Case Fits The 2010 Upper Deck Exquisite Rare Materials Cards?

2010 Upper Deck Exquisite Rare Materials
I recently bought this 2010 Upper Deck Exquisite Collection Rare Materials card of former Buffalo Bills QB Jim Kelly. It's a cool card with the four pieces of game used materials. I also really like how Upper Deck utilized the gold foiling, but I have one sort of major issue. I like to keep many of my cards in snap magnet cases. I keep a good number around of different sizes so I have a case for when I get a new card in the mail. However, I have not been able to find a case that this ultra thick card will fit into. Not even a 180pt will do. So I thought I would check before I go out and buy any more cases. Does anyone know what size cases will fit these Rare Materials cards perfectly? Thanks for the help and… "Enjoy Every Bounce of the Ball".

  1. Wow... it doesn't fit into a 180pt holder? That card must be thick. How about one of these 10 card holders (for sets)? Best of luck!

  2. @Fuji, that's what I have it in now, but the cards move around in those and the corners always get damaged.

  3. Oh... that's not good. If you don't care about being able to see the backside of the card... you could insert one of those "decoys" behind it, so it doesn't move. But then you can't appreciate your sweet looking card.

It looks like BCW makes 197pt. and 240pt. toploaders... so if it almost fits into the 180, the 197 should work. If not... you could go with the grand daddy of all toploaders... the 240.

  4. The 240 will prolly work. I will have to pick one up.I feel that the 10 card holders have rounded corners and tend to damage cards even with a decoy. I'll have to go to a few stores.

  5. Send me your addy... and I'll ship a 240 out to you. I have some cards I've been putting aside for you anyways... that way you don't have to buy a 10 pack for a single card.
